Started the 30-Day Shred program today, watching Jillian Michaels motivates me for some reason. It must be all the Biggest Loser episodes I watch.
So yes, started with Level 1 without using beginner modifications. It was tough because I’ve never properly worked out for more than 10 minutes before. Ran 8 minutes once and called it a day(a year long hiatus more like). The great thing is the whole level only lasts for 27ish minutes and she switches between moves quite frequently so it’s easier, mentally, to keep up.
My mat is wet from all the sweat, didn’t have dumbbells so I used a metal vase and metal book stands. Switched between hands since the weight wasn’t equal.
Had a Green Tea Frap right before so felt a little nauseous after, will wait half an hour to one hour after meals before working out in the future.
Overall I’m quite happy with this, 29 more days to go!
